THE AUTHORClare Percy-Dove as a student at school and later as a Religious of the Sacred Heart was associated with Brynmawr except for the first 16 years of its ownership by the order. She held a degree of Bachelor of Arts from Cambridge, an English Diploma of Education and a Master of Arts from Melbourne University. As a distinguished directress of studies she she shaped young minds and hearts to the service of God and man during 50 years of devoted, loving toil in the sphere of education.THE COVER The cover of the book was designed by noted Melbourne artist, Stanley Ballard.
