writer. His novels are noted for their fast pace, twisting plots, and
intense action. Reilly was a law student at the University Of New South Wales when
he wrote his first book, Contest . After being rejected by nearly every
major publisher in Australia, Reilly borrowed some money and printed
1000 copies himself. Reilly went to a bookstore in Sydney and asked if
he could place the copies on one of their book shelves. They accepted
the offer and placed them up. Very shortly after, the books had sold
out and the owner of the bookstore called Reilly to order more books. An editor for Pan Macmillan read one, and the rest is history.
Reilly has gone on to become an international best seller. Reilly has
now written more than a dozen books, and several short stories. He has made an 11 minute trailer for a film version of Contest , and
hopes to secure funding for a full length feature, directed by himself.
